The 4th technical NA/JRA meeting will focus on presenting and discussing the results of the recent intercalibration workshops, the status and progress at the infrastructures (instrumental improvements, implementation of modifications)
and continuous measurements, and data submission to the EUSAAR database.

| Meals: |
Lunch on Monday is not commonly organized but you can take it in the CNR nearby canteen (opening hours: 12:00 – 14:30). Pass the porter’s desk (main entrance) and turn left after 20m
(see map). For information, the meeting location of the workshop is on the 1st level above the porter’s desk. The workshop on Monday (PM session) will start at
14 pm.
Lunch on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be catered and you must buy the lunch tickets when registering for the workshop. Please make sure to bring the exact cash money with you when paying for your tickets (13 € each).
The expenses for the common dinner (~ 40 €) will have to be paid by the participants directly at the restaurant.

| Excursion: |
CNR-ISAC will organize a 1-day trip to the
Mt. Cimone Atmospheric Research Station,
about 100 km south of Bologna. Mt. Cimone is the highest peak of the Northern Apennines (2165 m a.s.l.). You will
have to sign up for the excursion during online registration. Please do not forget to also buy a lunch ticket
(see under meals section).
A bus will leave early in the morning from Bologna. Those leaving by plane from Bologna airport on Thursday evening
should indicate their depature time upon registration. The station itself (2165 m asl) can either be reached on foot
(one hour easy walk, 300 m altitude difference), or by cable-car and two elevators in an underground tunnel.
The cable-car can hold six people per trip and takes 10-15 minutes, it is managed by the Italian Air Force.
As the station and its surroundings are in a military zone, there are specific conditions to be met for the access.

From the airport:
There is the shuttle service AEROBUS BLQ directly to the central railway station (6 km, 20 min) leaving approximately
every half an hour. You can buy the ticket on the bus (5€).
By train:
CNR is at 5-minute taxi journey from "Bologna Centrale" railway station: ask for "CNR, via Gobetti 101".
You can also take the bus from the railway station (see below) or walk.
By bus:
The nearest stop to the central train station is AUTOSTAZIONE (piazza XX Settembre). Bus lines number 11a and
number 87 take you directly there. The fares are as follows: single ticket (1 €, valid for 60 minutes), one-day
ticket (3€), city pass (8,50 euros, 10 single trips), eco days (20 €, 11 one-day tickets). You must buy the ticket in
advance at the ATC ticket office at the central station, or at any newpaper seller.
By taxi:
About 14,00 euro from the airport and about 7,00 euro from the train station.
